Northcote
Built in 2019
Project 12 Architecture
‘This project comprises a rear and side extension to an inter-war era brick property in Northcote. The entry to the proposed dwelling is along the side boundary which has the benefit of making the most of the site whilst freeing up the retained portion of the existing house to accommodate three bedrooms, a study and two bathrooms. The rear volume contains the living, dining and kitchen areas. Careful consideration was given to the framing of views from, and solar access to, the extension. A north facing terrace extends out from the living room, which in turn connects to the west facing garden that is framed by the main (west elevation) of the building.’
